Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee, Inc. Bellevue location seeks a Retail Sales Floor Team Lead to elevate shopper experience through on-the-floor leadership, ensuring brand standards and real-time support for shoppers and staff.

You will oversee front end and sales floor operations, including cash handling, cashier accuracy, merchandising, and store presentation, while coaching teammates to deliver friendly, efficient service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• Experience in retail, nonprofit, or mission-based environments a plus.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily Front End operations, including registers, queue management, exchanges, and addressing register issues within allowed access.
• Train and onboard new front end team members on register procedures, shopper service standards, and daily operating expectations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, full, neat, sized, and categorized sales floor following Goodwill standards.
• Promote a positive team culture aligned with our Mission and TRUE Core Values.
• Assist shoppers with questions, returns, and exchanges, escalating issues only when necessary.
