Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee, Inc. in Smyrna is seeking a Retail Sales Floor Team Lead to elevate the shopper experience through on‑the‑floor leadership, maintain brand standards, and provide real-time support for shoppers and team members.

This role oversees front end and sales floor operations, including cash handling, cashier accuracy, shopper service, queue management, merchandising standards, and store readiness.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree preferred in business, logistics, supply chain, management, retail operations or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in production, warehouse, retail, or logistics environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily front end operations including registers, queues, exchanges and cash handling.
• Maintain a clean, organized, fully stocked sales floor following brand standards.
• Greet shoppers, assist, and respond to questions; coach team for consistent customer service.
• Support opening/closing activities and ensure safety, cleanliness and asset protection.
