Job summary

JCPenney is seeking a Sales Floor Assistant to drive customer service and sales growth. You will lead associates, manage merchandise standards, and execute restock and RFID processes to optimize store operations.

You will also support visual merchandising, environment standards, and omnichannel activities while helping to maintain a clean, organized selling floor and stockroom. The role emphasizes teamwork, accountability, and performance in a fast-paced retail setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service and drive sales performance.
• Lead associates, model expected behaviors and ensure effective teamwork.
• Assist with restock, inventory, RFID scans and stockroom organization.
• Support SET/visual merchandising and maintain store cleanliness and appearance.
• Assist omnichannel processes including Buy Online Pick Up In Store and Ship from Store.
• Support shrink reduction and safety initiatives, and participate in annual inventory.
