Job summary

Theisen's Home Farm Auto is seeking a Floor Supervisor in Iowa to assist the store manager in running a customer-focused operation that enhances associate morale, provides training, and maximizes sales and profits.

The role requires leadership in scheduling, enforcing procedures, and driving excellent customer service while supporting daily cash handling and store tasks. Candidates should have retail experience and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of related retail experience.
• National Retail Hardware Association test within three months of starting.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point.

Responsibilities

• Assist manager with ensuring proper associate coverage across departments and scheduling/time clock functions.
• Monitor associate productivity and ensure adherence to procedures, dress code, name tags, and paperwork.
• Provide input for manager regarding associate performance evaluations.
• Identify projects and coordinate completion.
• Perform opening/closing functions and prep of cash drawers.
• Liaise between manager and hourly associates and carry out directives.
• Perform tasks normally required of associates in most classifications.
• Assist customers with questions, needs, and loadouts; provide excellent service.
• Run cash register as needed.
• Assist with stocking, cleaning, and recovery.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
