Job summary

Theisen's, Inc. is seeking a Floor Supervisor to assist the store manager in delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining associate morale, training, and maximizing sales and profits. This role emphasizes teamwork, operational scheduling, and hands-on leadership.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in business or related field, 2+ years of retail experience, and a valid driver’s license. You’ll help with daily operations, ensure policy adherence, and support customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum 2 years of related retail experience
• Satisfactory completion of National Retail Hardware Association test within three months of starting
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Assist manager with ensuring proper associate coverage across departments and assist with scheduling and time clock functions
• Monitor associate productivity and ensure adherence to procedures, dress code, name tags and paperwork
• Provide input for manager regarding performance evaluations
• Identify projects and coordinate completion
• Perform opening and closing functions and prep cash drawers
• Carry out directives between manager and hourly associates
• Assist customers with questions and loads and provide excellent customer service
• Operate cash register as needed
• Assist with stocking, stocking and recovery
• Other duties as requested by management
