Job summary

Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions External is seeking a Field Service Technician to independently maintain and repair retail store technologies across client sites in the United States. You will perform full workloads of product installation, support, and repair on Toshiba and non-TOSHIBA retail products within store systems and SMB marketplaces.

The role requires 100% travel, flexible shifts including overtime and weekends, and strong customer service skills to ensure timely, quality service

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 4+ years of related experience; IT/Technical degree/certificate preferred.
• Must be able to travel 100% of the time, domestic and/or air travel.
• Operational knowledge of PC tech, network infra, POS equipment, and retail devices.

Responsibilities

• Operates in assigned territory and performs repairs and services on products; installs equipment in new/remodeled sites without assistance.
• Travels within territory or nationwide to install, relocate, or modify retail POS equipment.
• Communicates status, issues, and customer satisfaction with management and customers.
• Plans and schedules work and travel to meet customer commitments; supports overtime/weekends as needed.
• Documents installation activities per Toshiba standards using automated systems.
