Job summary

Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking an Associate Field Service Technician to service retail store technologies and POS systems across the assigned territory. You will perform on-site installation, basic diagnostics, and repair while maintaining customer satisfaction and Toshiba standards.

A high school diploma with 2+ years in electronics is required, along with willingness to travel 100% domestically.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 2+ years experience in electronics.
• Must be able to travel 100% domestically.
• Knowledge of PC technology, network infrastructure and POS equipment.
• Mechanical aptitude with electricity/electronics and test equipment.
• Ability to follow directions and communicate clearly.
• Strong customer service and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Operates in territory and performs basic repairs on products using standard maintenance packages.
• May travel within territory or nationally to installations or upgrades of POS equipment.
• Communicates status and customer satisfaction with management and customers.
• Completes service events in a timely, quality manner to minimize disruptions.
• plans, prioritizes, and schedules work; coordinates travel; overtime/weekend shifts may be required.
• Documents installation activities per Toshiba standards using automated systems.
