Job summary

Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking an Associate Field Service Technician to maintain and repair retail store technologies across client sites. Role includes on-site installations, problem diagnosis, and equipment upgrades in various retail environments.

You will travel domestically to perform installations, relocations, or service deliveries, working with POS systems, displays, printers and related retail devices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 2+ years' experience in an Electronics field.
• Must travel 100% domestically and internationally for installations or service projects.
• Knowledge of PC technology, network infrastructure, flat panel displays and POS hardware.
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude; able to use test equipment and basic hand tools.
• Ability to follow written/spoken directions and communicate clearly.
• Strong customer service and multitasking abilities; work independently.
• Excellent written and oral communication; professional demeanor.
• Identify IT signal/power cables and low voltage wiring; diagnose and repair accordingly.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic; able to work overtime/weekends as needed.
• Maintain ethics and professionalism in all interactions.

Responsibilities

• Operate in assigned territory performing repairs and services on retail products.
• Travel within territory or nationally for installations or changes to POS equipment.
• Communicate status and issues with customers, store management, and team members.
• Complete service events with quality, meeting customer commitments.
• Plan and schedule work; arrange travel using approved tools; adapt to schedule changes.
• Document installation activities per Toshiba standards (travel, time, expenses).
• Maintain trunk stock to support customers.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
