Job summary

Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking an Associate Field Service Technician to maintain retail store technologies and computer systems. You will perform installations, repairs and support at customer sites, with significant travel involved across assigned territory.

The role requires basic diagnostics, adherence to Toshiba procedures, and strong customer communication. Starting wage is $25.00 per hour, non-exempt.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 2+ years’ experience in an Electronics field.
• Must travel 100% domestically and/or internationally as required.
• Basic knowledge of PC technology, network infra, POS devices and retail equipment.
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude with ability to use test equipment.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Operate in assigned territory performing basic repairs and services on products.
• Travel to customer locations for installations, relocations or upgrades.
• Communicate status and issues with customers and teams in a timely manner.
• Complete service events with high quality, meeting commitments.
• Plan and schedule work, coordinate travel, and accommodate overtime/weekends.
• Document installation activities per Toshiba standards.
• Maintain trunk stock to support customers.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
