Job summary

Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, service and repair retail POS systems and related store technologies across customer sites. The role requires frequent travel, independent work, and strong customer-focused problem solving.

You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, document activities, and coordinate with store personnel to minimize downtime. A high school diploma with relevant experience is expected, and some positions may require IT training

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 4+ years of related experience; IT/Technical degree or certificate preferred
• Must travel 100% domestically; air travel may be necessary for installations or other service delivery projects
• Strong knowledge of PC technology, network infrastructure, cash registers/point-of-sale equipment, and retail devices

Responsibilities

• Operates in assigned territory and performs repairs and services on products. Installs equipment in new/remodeled sites with minimal assistance.
• Travel within territory or nationally to customer locations for installations, relocations, upgrades, or modifications to POS equipment.
• Communicates with customers and team members on status of work and customer satisfaction; maintains relationships and adheres to Toshiba service delivery methods.
• Plan, prioritize, and schedule work; arrange travel; respond to schedule changes; willing to work varying shifts including overtime/weekends.
