Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions seeks an Associate Field Service Technician to service retail store technologies and POS equipment across Southeast Michigan. You will install, support, diagnose and repair Toshiba and non-TOSHIBA retail devices in stores and SMB environments, traveling as needed and maintaining strong customer relations.

The role requires a high school diploma with electronics experience, mechanical aptitude, and the willingness to travel up to 100%.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and 2+ years in electronics field.
• Willingness to travel up to 100% domestically or internationally.
• Solid knowledge of PC tech, networks, POS devices and retail peripherals.
• Ability to read and follow instructions and work with standard tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate in assigned territory and perform basic repairs using standard maintenance tools.
• Travel within territory or nationally to install, relocate, or modify POS equipment.
• Communicate status and customer satisfaction to management and team members; build relationships.
• Complete service events with quality and on-time delivery per commitments; minimize business disruption.
• Plan, prioritize and schedule work; arrange travel with company tools and respond to schedule changes.
• Document installation activities according to Toshiba standards using approved systems and reports.
