Job summary

Mobile Technologies, INC. is seeking Flexible - Retail Field &/or Network Technicians to perform installations, retrofits, repairs and upgrades for retail security products, including networks and RFID locks.

Technicians will set up and troubleshoot connections, access points, routers, and switches across varied retail environments. Requirements include a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and prior IT/technical experience.

Qualifications

• Must have IT/technical technician experience.
• Certifications are a plus but not required.
• Travel to project locations is required.

Responsibilities

• Installations, retrofits, repairs and upgrades for retail security products including networks and RFID locks.
• Set up and troubleshoot connections for networked devices including routers and switches.
• Test and optimize Wi-Fi signals and heat mapping.
• Travel to various markets and provide on-site support.
• Use hand tools to perform installations and maintenance.

Flexible - Retail Field &/or Network Technicians

Retail Field Technicians, Smart Lock Managed Access & Network Technicians encouraged to apply - Technicians handle a wide range of installations, Workstation's, Retrofits, repairs, break fix and upgrades for retail security products, including networks, networked devices, RFID smart locks , access point management programming & installation, routers, switches. They also set up and troubleshoot connections in various environments, connecting devices with physical cables or wireless frequencies to ensure adequate signal strength for clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Current Driver’s License, insurance, and a vehicle for Transportation to and from project locations.


• Previous IT or Related technical technician experience is required.


• Technically inclined – experience with Cabling runs/ management/ testing/ terminating, Network provisioning.


• Excellent communication skills via phone, text, and email.


• Follow Direction easily


• Frequent use of hand tools.


• Travel is required in various markets.


• Lifting 60lbs or more.


• Able to climb up and down ladders.


• Testing networks Wi-Fi signals, heat mapping.


• Installing, troubleshooting access points, routers, switches.

Competency:

Required Education and Experience

• Over the age of 18.


• Certifications are a plus but not required.


• Lock experience a plus but not required
