Job summary

Mobile Technologies, INC. is seeking flexible Retail Field, Access Management and Network Technicians to install, maintain and repair networks across multiple markets.

Ideal candidates will travel, lift up to 60 lbs, and install/ troubleshoot access points, routers and switches while communicating clearly via phone, text and email.

Qualifications

• Over 18 years of age.
• Certifications are a plus but not required.
• All training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Handle implementing, maintaining, upgrading, and/or repairing networks and networked devices.
• Set up and troubleshoot connections in various environments, wired or wireless.
• Install and troubleshoot access points, routers, and switches.
• Travel to various markets and lift up to 60 pounds as needed.
• Communicate effectively via phone, text, and email.
• Use hand tools to perform typical field technician tasks.

Job Title: Flexible - Retail Field, Access Management & or Network Technicians

Reports to: Territory Manager

FLSA Status (exempt/non-exempt): Non-Exempt

Flexible - Retail Field, Access Management & or Network Technicians encouraged to apply - handle implementing, maintaining, upgrading, and or repairing networks/ networked devices such as access point, router, switches, pos systems, printers, and modems . Set up and troubleshoot connections in many different environments and connect them with physical cables or wireless frequencies, creating adequate signal strength throughout a location for a client's use.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Current Driver’s License, insurance, and a vehicle.
• Previous IT, FIELD, Access management or Related technical technician experience is required.
• Technically inclined – experience with Cabling runs/ management/ testing/ terminating, Network provisioning.
• Excellent communication skills via phone, text, and email.
• Frequent use of hand tools.
• Travel is required in various markets.
• Lifting 60lbs or more.
• Able to climb up and down ladders.Testing networks Wi-Fi signals, heat mapping.
• Installing, troubleshooting access points, routers, switches.
