Job summary

Fleet Feet Sports in Carrboro, NC is seeking an Assistant Retail Experience Manager to help lead a team and deliver a world-class retail journey. You will support onboarding, coaching, scheduling, and daily direction to Outfitters while energizing the sales floor and ensuring top service standards.

You will work closely with the Operating Partner to develop a high-performing team, manage conflict, and drive store initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in a customer-facing retail environment.
• Ability to coach and develop Outfitters and staff.
• Experience with scheduling, inventory, and floor ops.

Responsibilities

• Support recruiting, onboarding, and development of Outfitters.
• Lead on the sales floor delivering the Fleet Feet Outfitting Experience.
• Act as shift leader with real-time coaching and direction.
• Foster a high-performance culture with recognition and accountability.
• Communicate goals, priorities, and customer needs clearly.
• Assist with scheduling, events, and operational execution.
• Resolve customer issues promptly to protect satisfaction.
