Job summary

Fleet Feet in Asheville, NC is seeking an Assistant Retail Experience Manager to lead store culture, support daily operations, and deliver a world-class retail experience. You’ll work with the Operating Partner to help guide the team, energize the sales floor, and support the growth and development of Outfitters.

This hands-on role focuses on creating an exceptional customer journey while empowering team performance through coaching, scheduling, and daily direction.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of retail leadership experience in a customer-facing environment.
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
• Leadership skills in coaching, team motivation, delegation, and conflict resolution.
• Proven experience with retail operations such as scheduling, inventory, and floor management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Passionate about team development, recognition, and growth.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and aligned with Fleet Feet’s mission and values.

Responsibilities
