Job summary

Macy's is hiring a Selling and Support Captain to be a customer-focused leader in-store. You’ll drive satisfaction, merchandising, and brand loyalty through promotions and omni selling initiatives.

You’ll report to People Leaders and help communicate priorities to colleagues while advancing toward roles like Personal Stylist or Sales and Customer Experience Manager. Full-time hours typically exceed 30 per week; flexibility is required for peak periods.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing retail roles preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends.
• Ability to learn and use store systems and apps.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with orders and product information to drive satisfaction.
• Lead and mentor colleagues on tasks and priorities on the selling floor.
• Model exceptional service and provide fast feedback for continuous improvement.
• Resolve issues and promote the Macy's mobile app to enhance shopping experiences.
• Support opening/closing procedures and protect merchandise standards.
