Job summary

Floor & Decor in Arizona seeks a Training Specialist to develop Product Sales Specialists and ensure customers receive exceptional product information and service. You will lead certification courses and drive a strong customer experience across the store.

You will teach the company philosophy around retail basics, coordinate merchandising efforts, and support accurate pricing and presentation to maximize sales and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of customer service/sales experience or equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).

Responsibilities

• Act in alignment with the company's core values.
• Demonstrate safe lifting practices and SOPs.
• Teach and reinforce the basic P's of retail: People, Position, Product, Presentation, Price, Promotion, Purchasing.
• Provide direction to product sales specialists for high-quality customer service.
• Complete product specialist certification courses.
• Understand merchandise and installation details.
• Manage department merchandising, pricing, and organization.
• Communicate SOPs to associates in a timely manner.
• Assist customers with product questions and selections.
• Process purchases at POS and handle refunds/exchanges per guidelines.
• Present how-to classes to customers.
• Stock and tag displays and create price signs.
