Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a Training and Development Specialist to lead the training of Product Sales Specialists and ensure customers have a positive shopping experience with exceptional service and product information.

The role focuses on coaching, certifications, and maintaining strong product knowledge while working in a fast-paced retail environment to drive sales and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of customer service/sales experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction to product sales specialists to ensure attentive customer service.
• Complete product specialist certification courses.
• Demonstrate understanding of merchandise and installation.
• Ensure overall merchandising, pricing and organization of the department.
• Greet customers in a helpful and courteous manner and assist with questions.
• Process transactions at the POS and handle refunds/exchanges per guidelines.
• Stock and tag displays; create price tags and signs.
