Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a Training Specialist to develop Product Sales Specialists and ensure customers receive exceptional service. The role emphasizes training, product knowledge, and maintaining accurate pricing and showroom presentation.

The candidate will lead certification courses, guide associates, and support a positive shopping experience in a fast-paced environment within our store in the United States. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of customer service or sales experience or equivalent.
• Excellent communication (verbal & written).
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Industrial Truck (forklift) proficiency testing may be required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a helpful and courteous manner.
• Provide product information and assist with selections.
• Train and develop Product Sales Specialists.
• Ensure department merchandising, pricing, and organization.
• Complete certification courses for product specialists.
• Communicate SOP directions and changes to associates.
• Process checkout and handle refunds/exchanges per guidelines.
• Present how-to classes to customers.
• Maintain inventory needs and display tagging.
