Floor & Decor in Homewood, AL seeks a dedicated trainer to develop Product Sales Specialists and ensure customers have a positive shopping experience through exceptional service and deep product knowledge.

You will lead training, certify staff, manage merchandising and pricing, present how-to classes, and uphold safety standards and company policies across all shifts. The role requires strong communication and teamwork in a busy home improvement environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of customer service/sales experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Act in line with the company's core values.
• Ensure safe lifting practices are followed.
• Teach the basics of retail: People, Position, Product, Presentation, Price, Promotion, Purchasing.
• Provide direction to product sales specialists for high-quality customer service.
• Complete product specialist certification courses.
• Understand merchandise and installation details.
• Maintain department merchandising, pricing and organization.
• Communicate SOP directions to associates promptly.
• Complete forklift proficiency testing and certification.
• Communicate inventory needs to management.
• Assist showroom floor processing and product placement.
• Greet customers, answer questions, and assist with selections.
• Process checkout and refunds according to guidelines.
• Present 'how-to' classes to customers.
