Job summary

The Michaels Companies is hiring a part-time Service Team Member in Westwood, MA. You will deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop, and ensure a fast checkout experience with accurate cash handling.

You’ll unload trucks, stock shelves, and support in-store recovery and merchandising tasks. The role involves cross-training in Custom Framing selling and production, with responsibilities across in-store operations, BOPIS/SFS processes, and store safety programs.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move throughout the store.
• Lifting heavy boxes and climbing ladders as needed.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and early mornings.
• Must be at least 16 years old in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service and help customers shop the store.
• Ensure fast and friendly checkout experience with cash handling to standards.
• Assist with truck unloading and stocking, and maintain store recovery standards.
• Support with omni-channel processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in POS duties, frame shop operations, and adherence to SOPs.
