Job summary

Michaels in Stoneham, MA is hiring for a store team member to assist customers, stock shelves, and operate the checkout. You will help customers find items, enroll them in rewards, and support BOPIS/SFS processes while unloading trucks and maintaining an in-stock, well-merchandised store.

The role requires a friendly, helpful attitude, ability to stand for long periods, and flexible hours including nights and weekends. Training on store SOPs and safety programs will be provided.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; handle cash to standards.
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enroll them.
• Educate customers on VOC survey.
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram tasks.
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintain stock and store appearance.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies.
• Interact with customers and teammates professionally; model Michaels values.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
