Job summary

The Michaels Companies Port Chester, NY store is seeking a part-time Team Member to deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers find products and ensure a fast checkout experience.

You will unload trucks, stock shelves, and maintain in-stock conditions while learning framing options and rewards programs. The role requires standing for long periods, flexibility to work nights/weekends, and a devotion to store standards.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop our store, and find what they’re looking for.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in the truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Support shrink and safety programs and adhere to SOPs and company policies.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
