Ashley Furniture Industries seeks a Customer Service Representative to serve as the front-line ambassador in our St. Louis area store. You will greet customers, handle sales order processing, and maintain accurate customer accounts with care for every interaction.

You will work with sales and merchandising teams, use MS Office and POS systems, and participate in cash handling and daily storefront operations. This role supports store excellence and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service, office, or administrative experience preferred.
• Knowledgeable Microsoft Office Suite and system transactions.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays; rotation for store opening/closing.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide professional service across in-person, phone, and email channels.
• Process sales orders and ensure documentation and approvals are complete.
• Manage customer accounts and assist with financing arrangements.
• Handle cash and reconcile transactions per policies under supervision.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve issues, escalating when needed.
• Assist with audits, inventory processes, and paperwork accuracy.
• Maintain records and prepare routine reports according to standards.
• Collaborate with sales, merchandising, and store staff for smooth operations.
