Job summary

Ashley Furniture Industries is seeking a Customer Service Representative to greet customers, process orders, manage accounts, and support store operations with professionalism and accuracy.

You will use POS systems, Microsoft Office, and retail management software to handle sales, payments, and documentation, while collaborating with team members to ensure a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the US.
• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of customer service, office, and/or administrative experience preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a warm, professional manner representing Ashley's brand image and provide exceptional service.
• Assist with processing sales orders accurately and obtaining proper approvals.
• Process customer credit applications and assist with financing arrangements.
• Handle cash following established procedures and reconcile transactions.
• Address customer inquiries and escalate complex issues to Management as needed.
• Support store operations with audits, inventory processes, and documentation.
• Maintain accurate records and routine reports of sales and office paperwork.
• Collaborate with sales, merchandising, and store associates to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Utilize POS systems and office software to perform duties efficiently.
