Job summary

Ashley Furniture Industries in California seeks a Customer Service Representative to greet customers, handle inquiries, and support store operations with friendly, professional service. You will process sales orders, manage customer accounts, assist with payments and documentation, and collaborate with teams to ensure smooth, accurate service.

Eligible candidates are 18+, with a high school diploma, basic Microsoft Office skills, and at least 1 year in customer service; weekend and holiday

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the US.
• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of customer service, office, and/or administrative experience preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays; including rotation for store opening and closing responsibilities – various shifts.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a warm, professional manner and uphold Ashley's brand image.
• Process sales orders accurately and secure final approvals.
• Manage customer credit applications and financing arrangements.
• Handle cash and reconcile transactions under supervision.
• Address inquiries and escalate issues as needed while ensuring follow-up.
• Support audits, inventory, and paperwork accuracy.
• Maintain records and prepare routine reports.
• Collaborate with sales, merchandising, and store staff.
• Utilize POS systems and retail software to perform duties.
• Complete any additional tasks assigned by management.
