Big Lots is seeking motivated individuals to support our stores by providing essential products at values to the communities we serve. A Customer Service Associate greets customers, assists with merchandise selection, and processes transactions on the POS system.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking shelves, and maintaining a clean, well-organized store. Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends is often required.

Qualifications

• Education: High School or better; ability to follow directives and interpret retail documents.
• Experience: Prefer experience in retail, grocery or service environments.
• Skills: Customer focus, communication, problem solving, and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with selection of merchandise.
• Complete transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Unload trucks, stock shelves, and maintain a clean, organized store area.
• Ensure a safe shopping environment by monitoring activity and addressing hazards.
• Provide general store assistance and support as needed.
