Job summary

Big Lots is seeking motivated individuals to support our Stores as we provide essential products at great values to the communities we serve.

As a Big Lots Customer Service Associate you will greet customers, assist with merchandise selection, complete transactions and answer store questions. You may also unload trucks, process freight, stock shelves and recover merchandise as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery or drug store experience preferred.
• Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with merchandise selection.
• Complete transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Keep store clean, stocked and organized for customers.
• Unload trucks, process freight and stock shelves as needed.
• Provide friendly, helpful customer service and answer questions.
