Job summary

Big Lots is seeking motivated individuals to support our Stores as we provide essential products at great values to the communities we serve.

As a Big Lots Customer Service Associate you will greet customers, assist with merchandise selection, complete transactions at the POS, and answer questions about the store and merchandise.

Other duties may include unloading trucks, stocking shelves, recovering merchandise, and helping maintain a clean, welcoming shopping environment.

Qualifications

• Prefer completion of high school or equivalent.
• Retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery or drug store experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with merchandise selection.
• Complete transactions using the POS system.
• Unload trucks, stock shelves, and maintain store cleanliness.
• Ensure a safe and secure shopping environment.
