Job summary

Big Lots is seeking motivated individuals to support our Stores as we provide essential products at great values to the communities we serve. As a Customer Service Associate you will greet customers, assist with merchandise selection, process transactions, and answer questions about the store and merchandise.

You may unload trucks, stock shelves, and recover merchandise to maintain a clean, organized shopping environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Prefer completion of high school or equivalent.
• Experience: Prefer retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery or drug store environments.
• Physical requirements: lift up to 50 lbs, walk/stand for long periods.
• Availability: flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and greet customers.
• Assist with merchandise selection and transactions.
• Unload trucks, process freight, stock shelves.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store at all times.
• Operate POS system and handle customer funds.
