Job summary

Michaels Stores is seeking a customer-focused team member to support in-store shopping, checkout, and merchandising at our Paradise Valley, AZ location. You will assist customers, handle cash transactions, and promote rewards programs while maintaining store standards and safety.

The role involves stock replenishment, truck unloads, and participating in omni-channel processes such as BOPIS and SFS. Flexible hours including nights and weekends are typical, with an emphasis on friendly, helpful

Qualifications

Retail or customer service experience preferred.
Ability to stand for long periods.
Ability to move throughout the store and perform stocking duties.
Willingness to work nights, weekends and early mornings.

Responsibilities

Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
Educate customers on VOC survey.
Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram duties.
Maintain store recovery, merchandise return/go back process, and in-stock conditions.
Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
Support shrink and safety programs.
Adhere to SOPs and company policies; promote a positive image.
