Job summary

Michaels in Shoreline, WA is seeking a Store Associate to assist customers, perform cash handling at a friendly checkout, and participate in stocking and merchandise recovery. You’ll help customers shop, enroll them in the Rewards program, and support Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store operations.

The role emphasizes standing for long periods, moving throughout the store, and complying with SOPs while providing a positive, safety-conscious shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods; lift heavy boxes as needed.
• Comfortable working evenings, weekends and early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Help customers locate products and provide solutions.
• Provide fast and friendly checkout with cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers about Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Stocking, truck unloading, and maintaining planograms (POGs).
• Follow SOPs and company policies; support shrink and safety programs.
