Job summary

Michaels Stores Ithaca, NY is seeking a Sales/Customer Service Associate to help customers find products and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience. You will also unload trucks, stock shelves, and participate in planograms to maintain a well-merchandised store.

The role requires standing for long periods, occasional heavy lifting, and the ability to assist with omni-channel processes such as Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to assist customers and answer questions.
• Maintain store standards and floor recovery.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast, friendly checkout with accurate cash handling.
• Engage customers with Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments.
• Assist with omni-channel processes (BOPIS, SFS).
• Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planograms.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
