Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Store Associate at Shoreline, WA. You’ll help customers find products, operate a fast checkout, and enroll shoppers in rewards programs. The role includes unloading trucks, stocking shelves, and keeping the store well-merchandised and in stock while following SOPs.

Shift work may include nights and weekends in a climate-controlled environment. Qualifications include retail or customer service experience and the ability to stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Lifting heavy boxes and stocking duties as part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop our store, and find what they're looking for.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience with cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on rewards programs and enrollments.
• Assist with omni-channel processes including BOPIS and Ship From Store.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes.
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintain in-stock store conditions.
• Support shrink and safety programs and adhere to SOPs and policies.
• Interact professionally with customers and act as a role model for team members.
