Job summary

Michaels Stores in Woodbury, NY is seeking team members to deliver friendly customer service and help customers find products. You will ensure fast checkout, engage customers with Rewards programs, and support omni-channel processes like BOPIS and SFS.

You’ll also assist with truck unloading, stocking, and maintaining in-stock, well‑merchandised shelves. The role involves a range of store duties, floor recovery, and adherence to SOPs.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout with cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers about Rewards and Private Label Credit Cards; enroll them.
• Educate customers on Voice of Customer (VOC) surveys.
• Assist with Omni channel processes: Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking and planograms (POGs).
• Complete merchandise recovery, returns, and store recovery to stay well merchandised.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs; comply with SOPs and policies.
