Job summary

Michaels is seeking teammates for the Newtown Square store to help customers shop, locate products, and ensure a quick, friendly checkout experience. Team members will unload trucks, stock shelves, and maintain in-store merchandising while supporting rewards enrollment and omni-channel services.

The role emphasizes customer service, product knowledge, and adherence to store policies, with opportunities to participate in store recovery and performance programs.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast, friendly checkout experience with accurate cash handling.
• Promote and enroll customers in the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Educate customers on Voice of Customer surveys.
• Support Omni channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in unloading trucks, stocking, and maintaining planograms.
• Handle merchandise recovery and stock in-store, including returns.
• Assist with Store In Stock Optimization and AD sets as assigned.
• Support shrink control and safety initiatives.
• Follow SOPs and company policies; demonstrate professional, respectful conduct.
