Job summary

Michaels in Charlotte, NC is seeking store team members to deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and help run a fast checkout. You will participate in truck unloading, stocking, and maintaining planograms to ensure a well-merchandised, in-stock store.

The role also includes promoting the Michaels Rewards program, supporting BOPIS/SFS, upholding SOPs, and behaving as a positive role model for colleagues.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move throughout the store.
• Sixteen (16) years or older as required.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Promote the Michaels Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enroll customers.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes.
• Maintain store recovery, merchandise returns/go-backs, and in-stock conditions.
• Support shrink and safety programs; adhere to SOPs and company policies.
• Interact professionally; be a positive role model and promote company values.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
