Job summary

Michaels Brick, NJ location is seeking team members to deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and ensure fast, accurate checkout experiences. Responsibilities include helping customers, processing purchases, and promoting rewards programs.

The role supports omni-channel processes (BOPIS, SFS), stocking, and merchandise recovery. Physical duties include standing, lifting, and unloading trucks in a climate-controlled retail setting.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Physical requirements include standing for long periods and lifting heavy boxes.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enroll them
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns process and store recovery
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; interact positively and model company values
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
