Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of West Virginia LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, stock shelves, unload trucks, and maintain a clean, safe store environment.

This part-time position requires strong customer service, teamwork, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs. Candidates with prior retail or service industry experience are preferred and must follow directions and adhere to store policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store highly preferred.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, kneeling, and other physical tasks.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and shelf replenishment.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and respectful store environment for customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness of the store, bathrooms, floors, and waste disposal.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
