Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of West Virginia LLC seeks a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, keep shelves stocked, and help with unloading trucks while maintaining store cleanliness and safety for customers and staff.

Experience in retail or related customer service is preferred. This role requires physical effort and a customer-first mindset in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform repetitive movements.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks; stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and team.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including restrooms, floors, and areas.
• Other duties as assigned.
