Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of West Virginia LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers, handle sales transactions at the register, and help keep the store stocked and presentable.

The role requires reliability, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs and stand for extended periods while following safety and operational procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and stand/walk frequently.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and presentable store environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
