Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of West Virginia LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to provide a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, maintain store cleanliness, and stock merchandise while upholding safety and professionalism.

The role requires the ability to lift 30–50 lbs and strong communication skills. Part-time on-site work with opportunities to support a busy retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous customer service experience in retail or similar environment preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret documents
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks like standing, walking, and stocking

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks; stock replenishment
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff
• Keep the store clean, restock bathrooms, sweep and mop floors, take out trash
• Other duties as assigned
