Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of West Virginia LLC is seeking a friendly Customer Service Associate in Glenville, WV to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, process transactions, and help with stocking and merchandise recovery in a fast-paced retail setting.

The role requires lifting 30–50 lbs, strong communication, and a customer-first mindset. This position is part-time with opportunities to grow and support a positive store environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior customer service experience in retail, hotels, restaurants, grocery, or drug stores is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and handle frequent walking, standing, and bending.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks; stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and colleagues.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
