Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of West Virginia LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, and help maintain a clean, organized store.

The role emphasizes customer service, teamwork, and adherence to store procedures. Prior retail or grocery experience is preferred, with the ability to lift and move items as needed and maintain friendly interactions with customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service in retail/hospitality or grocery is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and operate based on procedures is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Provide a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and colleagues.
• Keep store clean, restrooms stocked, and floors swept and mopped.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
