Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking a Retail Associate to deliver a positive shopping experience. The Associate greets customers, maintains eye contact, smiles, and helps with merchandise while following company standards and presenting merchandise to the monthly guidelines.

Responsibilities include safety, loss prevention awareness, MOS policy, cash handling and friendly customer service; you will work with fellow Associates to keep the store clean, organized, and aligned with brand expectations.

Qualifications

• Effectively communicate with Customers, Associates and Store Leadership in a friendly, respectful, cooperative and pleasant manner.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.

Responsibilities

• Assists Customers in any way necessary – is register-trained, assists Customers with merchandise, and answers Customer questions in a polite and knowledgeable manner.
• Maintains a clean work area and ensures proper merchandise presentation.
• Follows loss prevention awareness and MOS policies to protect assets.
• Maintains a professional appearance and adheres to the dress code.
• Represents and supports the Company brand at all times.
