Job summary

Michaels is hiring at Matthews, NC for a store team member to assist customers and keep the store well stocked. You will help customers find items, ring up purchases, and enroll shoppers in rewards programs while supporting online order pickup and ship-from-store processes.

The role involves merchandise handling, shelf maintenance, and adherence to SOPs and safety requirements in a fast-paced retail setting. Experience in retail or customer service is preferred.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Maintain store recovery and in-stock conditions; support shrink and safety programs
