Job summary

Michaels in Dunn, NC is seeking a Store Team Member to assist customers, keep shelves stocked, and provide a fast, friendly checkout experience. You will participate in truck unloading, planograms, and merchandise recovery while helping customers with rewards programs and product locations.

The role supports omni-channel processes (BOPIS/SFS), involves standing for long periods, and may require cross-training in framing.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift/move merchandise.
• Must be at least 16 years old in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast and friendly checkout; cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes.
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns/go back process and general store recovery.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies and standards.
• Interact with others in a respectful manner; be a role model; cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
• Other duties as assigned
