Job summary

Michaels in Durham, NC is seeking store team members to provide friendly customer service, help shoppers find products, and operate checkouts. You will assist with inventory, restocking, and keeping the store well-merchandised. Positions involve helping with truck unloading, planograms, and supporting omnichannel processes like BOPIS and SFS.

Evening and weekend availability may be required. Retail and/or customer service experience is preferred.

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on rewards programs and enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Maintain merchandise recovery and store recovery to ensure in-stock conditions.
• Support store safety programs and SOP adherence.
• Cross trained in framing selling and production.
