Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of West Virginia LLC in Northfork, West Virginia, is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to help customers and maintain store operations. You will assist customers with questions, process transactions, stock shelves, and support unloading trucks while upholding a clean, safe, and friendly environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, prior customer service experience is preferred, and candidates should be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment per productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
