Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Customer Service Team Member at our Elk Grove store to deliver friendly service, locate products, and ensure a fast checkout experience. You will participate in truck unloading, stocking, and maintaining store standards while promoting the rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments.

The role emphasizes Omni channel support (BOPIS/SFS), strong customer interaction, and adherence to SOPs. Availability for nights, weekends, and early mornings is common in retail.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to engage customers and resolve questions.
• Cash handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers in rewards programs and enrollments
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS and SFS)
• Stock, unload trucks, and maintain planograms (POGs)
• Support store recovery, shelf maintenance, and in-stock accuracy
• Adhere to SOPs, company policies, and safety programs
• Promote a positive, respectful store environment and be a role model
